The space

Welcome to Bungalow Bliss! A short 5 minute walk to the pristine sands of Crescent Beach, Bungalow Bliss offers a relaxing escape after spending a day along the water or wrapping up 18 holes at a local golf course.

Come to Bungalow Bliss and prepare your favorite meal in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy it in the dining area. Prefer to dine al fresco? Grill the fresh catch of the day while eating out on the patio.

Opting to spend a night out on the town? Great eateries are just around the corner to suit every craving or spend the evening with all the vibrant entertainment of Barefoot Landing, all just a short drive away. Popular attractions like the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Broadway at the Beach are also with driving distance.

For those seeking a low key evening indoors, settle in and enjoy movie night or binge watch a favorite show on one of home's 3 smart TVs. Looking to unplug and unwind? Take turns playing with family and friends choosing amongst a selection of board games.

When ready to turn in, relax the night away in one of the 2 bedrooms, both with the convenience of en-suite bathrooms. Whatever you decide, sleep the night away and wake up refreshed for a new adventure along the Carolina coast. New memories to be made await you at Bungalow Bliss!

Other things to note

Our home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of our community and neighbors. Parties, events, or large gatherings are strictly prohibited. In addition, excessive noise at any time is never allowed and quiet hours are in place every day between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

This home is not suitable for large groups or those with more than 2 vehicles. The house is one of three sharing a common parking lot. Those found violating parking rules or community’s policies that disturb our neighbors are subject to having their reservation cancelled and being escorted from the property.

The location of our home affords close proximity to all conveniences and amenities. While it is not beachfront, it is just a short 5 minute walk to the beach.

​The sleeping arrangements at our home can accommodate up to 6 guests with 2 queen beds in the primary bedroom and a queen bed in the guest bedroom.

We welcome responsible and responsive guests over the age of 21. Any and all persons staying or visiting the property must be 18 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.

A copy of the guest's government issued ID must be shared with the host upon a confirmed reservation. This is for safety and security purposes and is strictly required in order to stay at our home.

Pets allowed with restrictions and additional fees (please see house rules).

If a guest cancels a reservation, all eligible refunds will be governed by the cancellation policy agreed upon at time of booking. No refunds outside of the cancellation policy will be possible unless a mandatory evacuation is ordered for the area. Thus, it is highly recommended that all guests purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance. In the event that a guest cannot make a trip due to a family emergency, illness, bad weather, flight/rental car cancellation, job loss, COVID-19 ban/restriction, etc., the guest should seek reimbursement through their travel insurance.

Mother Nature’s creatures both great and small also reside in the area in which our home is situated. Specifically, the occurrence of "palmetto bugs" are very common throughout all homes in the Grand Strand/Myrtle Beach area. Understanding how disconcerting it may be for our guests to find these critters in our home, please know that we hold a high standard for cleanliness and take all efforts to try to keep Mother Nature's creatures at bay. We subscribe to regularly scheduled pest control services so our guests can have an enjoyable stay. Despite measures we have taken to keep the home free of such events, it is not uncommon to have a stray visitor come into the house through an open door or window even if left ajar for a brief moment. While we cannot be held responsible for encounters with pests or wildlife inside or outside the home, if notified immediately of such an occurrence, arrangements can be made to accordingly try to address the issue. No refunds will be offered for these encounters.

Property has 3 motion-activated exterior security cameras (at front door, patio, and side yard/concrete pad) that record sound and video 24/7 and decibel monitoring sensors inside and outside of the home to ensure neighborhood noise levels are respected. Tampering/removing equipment will result in a minimum fine of $300.

- Any loss or damage to real or personal property of a Host caused by the fault, negligence or intentional misconduct of a Guest (and any of their guests or pets) shall be charged to and paid for by the Guest.

Responsible guests and their well-mannered furry companion are welcome to our home, for whom the following pet policy applies:
- Only one dog weighing 50 pounds or less is permitted unless agreed upon in advance with the Host. No other pets or animals allowed (e.g., cats, birds, etc.), and a penalty fee of $100 per unauthorized animal, per night will apply.
- An additional pet fee of $100 (before fees and taxes) per stay will apply.
- The dog must remain within the owner’s control at all times, either on a leash or in a carrier as appropriate.
- The dog must never be left alone on the property. However, for only short periods of time when it is not possible for the owner to take the dog with them where they go, then the dog can be crated or confined to a specific area in the home.
- We expect the dog to be completely house trained. Please clean up after the pet.
- The dog is not allowed on the furniture/beds.
- We count on the owner to prevent the dog from making excessive noise, being disruptive, or exhibiting aggression toward other guests or neighbors.
- In the unlikely event the property requires additional cleaning (e.g., fur/hair, potty, etc.) or if damages are incurred as a result of the dog, you will be charged additional fees starting at a minimum of $300 for services and repairs.

Damage Deposit Policy
As a security deposit alternative, Houfy Protect, an upfront nonrefundable low cost property damage protection policy for just $5 per night, is taken at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of the vacation rental business, we cannot accept cancellations occurring later than 45 days to the arrival date. You will forfeit all sums paid unless we are able to re-rent the property, in which case we will refund an amount equal to any subsequent rental less a $100 handling fee. If a cancellation occurs prior to 45 days to arrival, full refund will be issued less a $100 handling fee.
